* To remove the tiles off of the wall (without adhesive glue) try to use a steamer . You may also need liquid paint thinner.
* Please note: there may be air holes or “birthmarks” that cannot be controlled or replaced. If you need to see a picture of what it looks like please let us know.
* Vacuum packed orders- We vacuum pack the foam to reduce on shipping cost. All Vacuum packed packages will have to be opened right away and you will need to give the foam 1-2 days to come back to it’s original shape. It will look a little misshaped and not measure to it’s correct size until after you let it expand back out. Foam N’ More will not be responsible for vacuumed packages that are damaged or have missing pieces (that have not been opened) for more then 2 weeks upon delivery.

Our Acoustic Foam is a wonderful product for absorbing sound waves, but do not mistake “sound absorption” for “sound blocking.” Acoustic foam will not block sound from going through it. To block sound you need a heavier, more dense material called Volara foam OR Minicell foam. If you need to sound block your room please contact us. Our heavy dense material is a 1/4″ or 1/2″ thick, sound Barrier that goes on the back side of each acoustic foam tile.

Our acoustic tiles are cut exactly to size as shown on our web site but when we used a machine to compress the foam sometimes the acoustic foam will not come back to size.

The acoustic foam will have a +-1/4” tolerance.

If the tiles that are too big can be push and compress down to place when gluing to make it the correct size. The tiles that are too small can be stretch a little to make it the correct size.

If you have any questions or concerns about this statement please feel free to contact us.

This adhesive only comes 58″ wide
Acoustic Foam with brown adhesive backing is available no matter the thickness of your foam!
This is a strong and excellent adhesion that quickly sticks.
This is a high performance poly-acrylate adhesive system. The solvent free formula exhibits good ageing resistance with a high initial tack and peel adhesion on polar surfaces. For example: brickwork, wood, metal and polar plastics. Please contact us for prices.

If you are blocking noise from coming out from windows, skylights, or doors use charcoal firm foam. With this foam you can squeeze the foam tightly into the space to absorb the noise from escaping or coming in.

Acoustic foam does help to control sound waves and is a good solution for sound absorption. This foam is used to treat a room with a lot of echo or reverberation. It helps to create an acoustically “sound deadening” effect for room with a lot of bouncing sound waves.

NRC stands for Noise Reduction Coefficient. This is a standard and commonly used method to calculate the ratings of the ASTM C423 test on noise reduction foam. This method covers frequencies between 125 and 4000HZ. The higher the NRC rating, the more sound the material can absorb.

All Noise Studio Control foam is a California 117 flame retardant specifications, class B type.

Fire resistant/retardant is a test that calculates “Flame Spread Index”, and  “Smoke Developed Index”. These numbers determine whether the material is “Class A”, “Class B”, or “Class C”. Class A tells that the material will not burn or smoke much, and Class C represents that the material will burn heavily and produce even more smoke. Class B will burn a little more than Class A, and also produce slightly more smoke than in Class A.

Disclaimer: We do not encourage anyone to do flammability tests themselves. We don’t want anyone getting hurt. Also, please check your building codes before installing our acoustic foam. Different building codes apply to different locations. Our foam will not pass the E84 Test.
