Baffles are designed for vertical suspension above any noise source. Polyurethane foam baffles are suspended vertically with corner eyelets. By hovering them in rows and columns this will absorb unwanted echoing.

Use our open cell polyurethane acoustic foam, at the 3″ total thickness, with convoluted foam on both sides (1-1/2″ thick each side) for maximum absorption of noise energy. Lined on the inside of the material is a nylon rope structure with eyelets protruding from the two corners designed for free vertical hanging above the noise source.

Our acoustic tiles are cut exactly to size as shown on our web site but when we used a machine to compress the foam sometimes the acoustic foam will not come back to size.

The acoustic foam will have a +-1/4” tolerance.

If the tiles that are too big can be push and compress down to place when gluing to make it the correct size. The tiles that are too small can be stretch a little to make it the correct size.

Q. Will the Foam Back Bolster be glued?

Please note that a wedge over 12″ thick will need to be glued together to get the thickness you are looking for. The glue is strong and will never fall apart and plays no affect on the firmness of the foam.
